Gevonden is our base camp and is situated just outside of the pictures Rawsonville valley, famous for its wine and stunning nature areas with mountains and rivers surrounding us.  The campsite is nestled between vineyards on a working farm.

The campsite is set in a lovely rustic setting but no compromise is made on the small luxuries with beautiful bathrooms equipped with modern gas geysers to ensure sufficient hot water or a nice shower after a long day.  Other accommodation consists of revamped farm worker houses with bunker/triple beds.  We have 2 en-suite rooms with single beds and each with its own bathroom.   We have also converted horse stable in a sleeping area with bunker beds/single beds  in these unit.  We offer an equipped kitchen (if you take the self catering option),  2 halls and a big marquee tent if needed,   well kept lawn for activities for meetings and general use.

For the nature lover we offer a nice natural river, mountain bike and hiking trails, river pools for swimming or raft building.

Please come visit us to experience our unique camping done a bit different.
